夏利东,博士,教授。1985年至1993年,中国科技大学本科、硕士;1999年开始在德国哥廷根大学和马普太阳系研究所攻读博士学位,2003年获得哥廷根大学天文和天体物理学博士学位。1993年参加工作,中国科技大学助教、讲师。2003和2004年曾先后在马普太阳系研究所和英国Armagh 天文台从事博士后研究。2004 年,中国科技大学副教授。2007,山东大学威海分校教授, 博士生导师。

夏利东研究经历:

研究方向为太阳大气物理、日地关系物理和空间探测。曾经从事电离层哨声波传播、行星际基波传播和太阳大气磁场重联的数值研究,参加完成了多项国家自然科学基金和重点项目子课题。主要从事太阳紫外/极紫外光谱学观测研究,研究重点在高速太阳风的起源和加速机制、色球和低日冕大气中的小尺度事件等,是SOHO飞船搭载的紫外辐射光谱仪(SUMER)数据分析阶段的研究组成员,承担国家自然科学基金面上项目和教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划各1项。空间探测方面,参加国家自然科学基金重点项目“‘夸父’空间天气探测计划”预研究,担任夸父A星预研负责人;参加国家民用航天“十一五”背景项目—“夸父计划”的预先研究,担任综合论证阶段有效载荷论证负责人。[1]
